Clicking on the check in option opens a drop zone for the file, and if user drops in a file that starts with the leaf name of a checked out file (and same extension) we could ask if they want to use it to check in the original file

What underlying problem is this idea trying to solve?
Without ActiveX the downloaded files with the same names are being automatically numbered to include (1), (2), etc. in the default download folder, which can result in users inadvertently importing the wrong file back. Their specific use case where the file name is the same all the time is the comments sheets used as part of the review in the legacy CT app. |
