Currently, the new version of the AssetWise-ProjectWise Connector works with a "Synchronize with ProjectWise" action in AssetWise. Problem is, this option is only available from the markup/prototype view, there is no way to Synchronize multiple markups/prototypes in a Change Request at the same time.

What underlying problem is this idea trying to solve?
Older versions of the Connector worked with the "Check-out/Check-in to/from ProjectWise" action instead of "Synchronize", and the Change Request had the possibility to check-out and check-in from ProjectWise multiple markups at the same time directly from the Change Request's view. With the new Connector, the Synchronize action is only available on markups. Having it from the Change Request's view, it would allow to Synchronize all markups from a Change Request at the same time, similarly to what the old Connector could do. |

Yes, I'm not arguing with what you are saying. I was simply pointing out a work around (in case you were not aware) while the action is not available right away on the CR object.

Thanks for the input. I was aware of this option, but it adds extra steps in the workflow from a common user's perspective. If they're working from the point of view of a CR, they shouldn't have to go elsewhere to Sync what they're currently working on in the CR, the CR should be the focus of everything relating to change management, including ProjectWise connectivity. Also, if you can register all prototypes from the CR (instead of one by one), why can't you Sync them all from the same place (like it used to do in older versions of AssetWise). Essentially, the option shown in your screenshot should be available directly from the CR's perspective.
