Change the email subjects from:
‘New transmittal / DO Description’ to ‘New transmittal / Transmittal number / DO Description’.
‘Transmittal recalled / DO Description’ to ‘New transmittal / Transmittal number / DO Description’.
With the recent changes to the user experience of distribution documents, the notifications were updated as well. One of the changes was to introduce the Subject field as part of the wizard which would be stored as distribution order metadata (DO description). However, as a result of aligning the notification formats, the subject no longer includes transmittal number.
What underlying problem is this idea trying to solve?
Several users have raised a concern that not including the transmittal number into the notification subject automatically causes them extra time to process the request. |
