When creating a new Distribution Order / Transmittals and then "Saving to Draft", the item because it is not yet finished or ready to be distributed, the the Ellipsis does not give you the option to add this to your basket.
You can currently search for the same DO item using the advanced search - Distribution Orders, Find the item you just created and add it to the basket from the ellipsis there.
It would just be nice to miss out this additional searching step and have the option displayed at the first step.

What underlying problem is this idea trying to solve?
Adding a draft Transmittal to your basket would allow Document Controllers to keep better track of which draft Transmittals are still to be sent. Currently they have to Search for them, then add them to their baskets which could be avoided if you could add them directly from the Distribution Order creation screen. |
