popup/ acknowledgment when downloading a report from explorer

When downloading the results of the reports in the explorer tab to a csv file, it would be helpful if there is a popup or a message stating that a report is downloading. It would also be helpful if the report could have a unique name each time a csv file is downloading instead of a generic name of 'results'

What underlying problem is this idea trying to solve?

Having this acknowledgement/ popup would help to prevent multiple reports being downloaded as users don't know that the download function is working. Having a unique name for each set of results would also be useful to help determine the difference in reports

    Hi Mikhail,

Adding the date and the report name would be perfect.

I use Chrome and I get the pop up once the report has downloaded but as some reports can be quite big, it would be nice to have a separate pop up window with perhaps a timeframe or a percentage of how much the report has downloaded, almost similar to the percentage screen you get when you do a Windows update.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Jayna,

With regards to the csv name, we could add a time stamp and perhaps the name of the report/search you are executing. Would that address your need?

As to the popup notification, could you advise on which browser you are using and whether the browser not shows the popup similar to the screenshot below (in my case Edge/Chrome):
