When downloading from the download section of 'Favourites', the current naming convention is Username then date and time. This can become quite confusing for multiple downloads. Is there a way to provide information about each download without needing to download them? Perhaps a dropdown of which items are contained in each zip?
What underlying problem is this idea trying to solve?
This should remove the confusion when there are multiple downloads in that section within a short timeframe.
The way our download function currently works follows the same pattern used in SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, and similar platforms: the zip file is created dynamically based on the files you select, and its contents aren’t available to preview until you open it.
In addition, if you are staying on the download page (depending on the size of the zip), the zip will be directly downloaded to your browser's Downloads folder while also being accessible through Favourites as you pointed out.
E.g., here's the export from ALIM, OneDrive, and Google Drive:
Providing some sort of a preview capability would not be possible without a major redesign of how the system works today. So I will mark this idea as "Will not implement", as we are following the industry practice here.
