Why is it useful?
Tag Template changes should be visible in Audit Detail so administrators can identify what configuration changed, when it changed and who made the change. Case CS0782415 confirmed that changes to Tag Template Name, Approval Status and Calculated Mask are not recorded because these properties are not available as audit-tracked properties for Tag Templates.
Who would benefit from it?
ALIM administrators, support teams and organisations that need traceability of configuration changes.
How should it work?
Make Tag Template Name, Approval Status and Calculated Mask available as audit-tracked properties. When any of these values changes, Audit Detail should record the property changed and its previous and new values.

What underlying problem is this idea trying to solve?
The current Tag Template audit history can show that a template changed without showing changes to the Template Name, Approval Status or Calculated Mask. This prevents administrators from reconstructing important configuration changes from the audit trail and makes troubleshooting dependent on separately retained exports or other evidence. |
